You may upload your images before your appointment by establishing a one-time image upload connection with Life Image. This system is both secure and HIPAA-compliant. Michigan Medicine contracts with Life Image, a third-party image exchange network, to transfer images electronically to Michigan Medicine. Under the “Appointments” tab on, you can view upcoming or past appointments, cancel appointments up to 24 hours before your schedule time, and request a new appointment. If you have signed up for an account on the MyUofMHealth patient portal, you can manage and request appointments with your U-M physician online. Video Visits: Many appointments for non-emergency care or care that doesn’t require an in-person physical exam can be done through a Video Visit. With Michigan Medicine Virtual Care, our patients can access the same world-class care they are used to from the comfort and convenience of home.Į-Visits: E-Visits are available for all active (having received care in the last 24 months) Michigan Medicine patients who are enrolled in the MyUofMhealth patient portal.
